STUFF

We are truely blessed from above. Thanksgiving was a good one this year. We had turkey, chicken and dressing, fruit salad, green beans, pasta salad, potato salad, buttermilk pie, lemon icebox pie. Too much stuff, lots of STUFF. We called my mom, Linda, Nancy, Bruce, Ann, Brandon, Megan, Madi, Claire, Paden, and Kyla. Ron called (I think he is still a little pissy about the picture). Man that guy is so sensitive. He should run for public office or something.

DUDE.. What up with do-rag? Paden wants a Harley.

Kyla,Madi, Claire. They are so sweet when they are young. I know things.

Oh LORD. I own my own weed eater and noone is going to take it away from me.

More pictures of the 53 Chevy. Work lots of work.

I managed to get the Wii hooked up. Kyla helped me. Its amazing how much these kids know these days. We went to church. Praise and worship was great. Preacher not so much. I really need to work on this one. I hear Cuz is still killin stuff from his penthouse above the corn feeder. Must be hard work. Linda is back in Irving for a couple of weeks. I understand Nancy's boys Alex and Derek are going to be in for Thanksgiving.

I have to go to Pennsylvania this week. I would rather be at home. Work is slowly running out. We should all have it as lucky as Cousin Critter.

I took this picture close to Cuz Critters mom's house. Just seemed to fit the theme.
As promised more pictures of the 53 Chevy

EXCITED

Today we purchased a Wii. I'm so EXCITED, I Can't wait to hook that thing up, OH YEA. I went with Deb to HEB plus, I get real EXCITED about shopping. We actually bought some gismos to put nuts, cereal, pretzels, etc. in. I guess the bags they came in are not as strong as they used to be.

The first pictue above is Madi going down the Guadalupe River. And I mean down literally. I told all those girls do not go past the big rock in the middle of the rapids. But did that mean anything to Madi. Oh Hell no. She went past that rock, and like a bolt of lightning, she went to the bottom. She looked like a cork. Guess who had to go get her. Yep, I was EXCITED about that one. She will remember this for a long time. Madi was so EXCITED I think she might have messed her pants, but the water took it down stream to the other people. I don't think we will ever know for sure.

The next picture is of the three sisters somewhere in Texas. GOD only knows what goes on when they are together. They talk about stuff that Penthouse publishes. We don't need no stinking men, something about carrots and big noses. Needless to say I can't publish what I have heard. I didn't know women thought of things like these three come up with.

OMG who is that in the "HOW YALL A DUIN" dude hat? Probably the same person that is in the next picture waiting to make an observation. You know she looks EXCITED.

Then there is the OLD PEOPLE (not all of us are old) at Green River Grill.

And as promised more pictures of the 53 CHEVY.

OBSERVATION

Ron called last night about 10pm raising a stink how he was going to report Deb and I to the IRS, INS, AARP, AAA, MYOB, and all other acronyms if I did not remove the bra picture from the internet. I think he FOC. Picture gone.

Let me go on record right now that I am blogging just to have something to do. The views expressed are my own and not intended to hurt anyone, forget anyone, or piss anyone off. If someone RON wants me to retract anything just let me know. Again, I am sorry, i'm only having fun at my own expense or yours. Please don't take anything I write or post serious. My sense of humor sometimes gets me into trouble. SORRY!!

Nancy, (Deb's youngest sister) who's picture is on my bio, also called last night expressing her views that she is not getting enough blog exposure. So I place the only two pictures I have of her on my blog. Pretty impressive photos? I'm kind of partial to the second one. I will tell more when I have better photos. HINT!!

Besides being a RN, Nancy is the worlds greatest Observationololgist. She knows a lot of things and is eager to offer her observation. Although I don't whistle, I understand she can detect when your whistle tone is out of tune. That in itself is noteworthy. I love her a lot. She has always been there when we needed her.

Debs sisters are the best. They will drive across the USA, uninvited or not (i'm not sure that makes any sense but is a compliment and not just an observation) to help a family member out. They never ask for money. I think they just want to be seen and offer up observations and stuff like that.

The next photo is Brandon and Cheryl from NY. They recently purchases a house and now understand the word "UPKEEP" means a lot of hard freekin work.

Speaking of work, as promised, more pictures of me working on the 53 Chevy.

GOD bless you guys and thanks for the memories.

I'M NOT SCARED

I don't know why the first pictures is so small. It is of me removing the door on the 53 Chevy truck. I don't know how many times I have removed and reinstalled the doors, the windows, the cranks, the seats, the door panels, the mirrors, yada yada. I get tired just thinking about it. WHEW....

Noone seems to know crap about these old trucks. You just have to dig in and don't be scared. Speaking of:

Now my brother in law Ron is not scared. Check him out. This man loves deer, literally. No kidding I have seem him dress up in a dog mask, rub his arse on a tree, moan "HERE DEER, WHOA DEER" all in an effort to hug a deer. Some people are tree huggers others are-- well you get the picture. Speaking of pictures, what up with the "U CAN'T TOUCH" this BRA shot? Must be a kodak moment. He is very sensitive so I better not say a whole lot about this picture. I wonder why he sent me this picture anyway?

And then here we are at the Lavender festival in Blanco, Texas. The one in the "I'M LOOKING FOR A SUGAR DADDY" sunglasses is married to the one wearing the BRA. She ain't rite. But she has a kind heart and a sweet spirit about her. Thank GOD she is so shy and all..... NOT !! However, she does seem to share my sense of humor.. Explains why she ain't rite.

And last are pictures of the grand kids, me daughter and her husband. Me daughter messed around and married her first cousin. I guess she did not want to change her last name. Also, explains why the grandson keeps saying Uncle Daddy all the time.  He already has an attention span problem.

Old Houses, Old People, Old Trucks

The old house is where I lived in Carthage, Texas. It looks awesome today. It reminds me of what a lot of hard work can do. The second picture is me in the back of the Chevy putting it back together after the painting was complete.

The first time I changed the oil in the truck it smoked so bad it resembled one of the fogging vehicles that sprayed for mosquitos, needless to say I had to replace the engine.

This old truck was a lot of hard work. I am not sure I would do this again. More pictures to come.

Needing something to do with my time I bought this old truck, began the long arduous task of renovation, and thankfully its finally complete. I have more pictures and will update as I go along with this blog.
