YOUNG AND INVINCIBLE

I'm not sure the nerve block is a working. I had no pain for 48 hours and then it trickled back in. But it is still better than it was last December. I am not as depressed and at least I know I can go back on the pill. Like everyone else in the USA today I need work. Those who have a job should be thankful and blessed.

UPDATE 3.11.10

Like everyone else I am getting older. Had my first nerve block two weeks ago and scheduled for another one today at 2 pm. This is my last resort before I succumb to pills for the rest of my life. But it is better than the depression and the pain. I have been excommunicated from the 53 CHEVY. Deb says everytime I drive it something breaks. I guess she just doesn't understand the truck is like me; the older it gets the more it breaks down. But then again it is her truck. :)

HO HO HO Merry Christmas

Well another Christmas has come and gone. So far today I have made breakfast tacos and Green Chicken Enchiladas, cleaned out the cat litter box (thanks to wailing and nashing of teeth from those in Irving), washed the car, cleaned the wheels and put on tire shine, swept the back porch, blew the limbs and leaves from the drive way, walked two miles, drank 4 cups of coffey and then I decided to update the blog. So far we have heard from Nancy (please note her name first), Linda, Brandon, Mattie, and Claire, We had to call Meredith and Kyla. Im off Ron's Christmas card list due to the Bra posting incident. Oh well..

So here are some recent photos in no particular order and as promised pictures of the truck which is currently in the shop because the heater quit working. It just wears me out.

STUFF

We are truely blessed from above. Thanksgiving was a good one this year. We had turkey, chicken and dressing, fruit salad, green beans, pasta salad, potato salad, buttermilk pie, lemon icebox pie. Too much stuff, lots of STUFF. We called my mom, Linda, Nancy, Bruce, Ann, Brandon, Megan, Madi, Claire, Paden, and Kyla. Ron called (I think he is still a little pissy about the picture). Man that guy is so sensitive. He should run for public office or something.

DUDE.. What up with do-rag? Paden wants a Harley.

Kyla,Madi, Claire. They are so sweet when they are young. I know things.

Oh LORD. I own my own weed eater and noone is going to take it away from me.

I managed to get the Wii hooked up. Kyla helped me. Its amazing how much these kids know these days. We went to church. Praise and worship was great. Preacher not so much. I really need to work on this one. I hear Cuz is still killin stuff from his penthouse above the corn feeder. Must be hard work. Linda is back in Irving for a couple of weeks. I understand Nancy's boys Alex and Derek are going to be in for Thanksgiving.

I have to go to Pennsylvania this week. I would rather be at home. Work is slowly running out. We should all have it as lucky as Cousin Critter.
